Chitkara University Partners with Google Cloud to Launch AI-First Digital Campus Powered by Agentic Intelligence

The initiative was formally launched in the presence of Vaibhav Srivastava, India Head – EdTechs & Education at Google Cloud, who presented a commemorative plaque to Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder of Chitkara University, recognizing the institution’s commitment to advancing digital transformation in higher education.

Through this collaboration, more than 10,000 students and faculty members will receive access to Google for Education Plus and Gemini Enterprise. This access will enable AI-powered learning, enhanced productivity, advanced collaboration, and research capabilities across a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Law, Design, Health Sciences, Media Studies, and Liberal Arts.

The Digital Campus on Google Cloud 4.0 initiative is designed to deliver advanced Agentic AI training, hands-on cloud laboratories, self-paced digital learning pathways, faculty development programmes, global certification opportunities, industry-recognised credentials, hackathons, and collaborative innovation experiences. These offerings are aligned with emerging global workforce requirements and the growing demand for AI-enabled skill sets.

The collaboration further establishes structured pathways for specialised certification programmes and industry-integrated academic experiences, ensuring that graduates possess both theoretical understanding and practical expertise in next-generation technologies.

The launch comes at a time when India is undergoing a major transformation in higher education, driven by rapid digital adoption and the expansion of Artificial Intelligence across sectors.
